About me
“Where it all began”
To tell you why I love cooking so much, it's worth to go back to my childhood - to the kitchen where it all began. The kitchen in our house was my mother's kingdom. Everything was in its place, every product was at the right time, every movement was confident and precise. My sister and I took part in the process as a small support team: serving something, cleaning something, preparing something.
But we weren't allowed to do the actual cooking - my mother liked to keep everything under control, and we respected her culinary magic. But when mom went to work, everything changed. The silence would be filled with the rustling of the pages of her old recipe notebook, her footsteps on the tile, and our excited voices: “Let's cook something! ”We were organizing our own cooking show. We were looking for ingredients, mixing, baking, and fantasizing.
As a result, the flour could even be in a flowerpot on the windowsill - but we were happy. And even if our “masterpieces” looked funny and tasted not always tasted perfect, they had our sincerity, curiosity, and love in them. Now everything is different. I cook consciously, thoughtfully, with respect for every detail. But every dish still has a little bit of that childlike lightness - when you just want to please. When food is not about rules, but about feelings. These moments still live in me. And I think that perhaps it is from such stories that true love for your work begins.
